Think you’ve seen the best Star Wars blooper reels? No…There is
another.
At this year’s San Diego Comic Con, Lucasfilm editor J.W. Rinzler screened this
never-before-seen blooper reel from the original Star Wars. Now it’s
finally hit the web. Rinzler has written classic books on the making of Star Wars like The Making of Star Wars: The Definitive Story Behind the Original Film so he knows a thing or two about what goes
on before the camera rolls. I’m not going to spoil the Star Wars movie blooper video, but
the Stormtroopers are hilarious. It’s two-and-a-half minutes of pure gold.
Note: The first 48 seconds are silent because the original clips don’t have sound, so don’t turn up your speakers.
The book has been re-released as a digital Ebook, The Making of Star Wars (Enhanced Edition) and has rare videos and audio excerpts newly discovered from the
Lucasfilm archives

What do you think of the bloopers? Are they the best you’ve ever seen?

I saw that yesterday on Ms. Mariah's site!
HA! nice. And I like the line in the post "No…There is another."
Yoda gold.
Think the best part is parts falling off the landspeeder…
Never saw the original Star Wars (I know, I must be the only one on earth) but this was quite funny.
You're not the only one Joy. There are lots of classic movies I haven't seen yet.
Very funny, love blooper reels! Especially when included after the movie.
You got it David!
It's funny to think of them chasing parts around the desert Alex.
Another great geek site Alex!
It would be great if they had had them at the end of Episode VII. Cannonball Run style!
