| Black Panther #1 cover by John Romita Jr. |
If you’re looking forward to Marvel’s Black Panther movie you’re probably wondering what comics to read. How can you get caught up?
Thankfully Comixology is having a massive sale where you can get more than half off a bunch of cool titles. Over 220 comics are on the list with some pretty insane deals.
For example, you can buy the classic original Black Panther Jack Kirby issues from the 1970s for only .99 cents (normally 1.99).
Ta-Nehisi Coates’ classic Black Panther: A Nation Under Our Feet Vol. 1 is normally $8.99 but now it’s been slashed to $2.99!
Reginald Hudlin is the writer best known for modernizing Black Panther and his graphic novel Black Panther: Who Is The Black Panther? is normally $10.99 and is now only $3.99. It’s worth it just for Klaus Janson’s and John Romita Jr.’s amazing artwork.
ComiXology also released a video called “Getting Started with Black Panther”
It’s a pretty sweet deal and if you’re looking to catch up you can check out my list of 10 Essential Black Panther Comics You Should Read Before Watching the Movie.
