Six Burning Questions About FANTASTIC FOUR Trailer

    Fantastic
    Four
(2015) –  Jamie Bell , Michael B. Jordan,, Miles Teller, Kate Mara

The trailer for Josh Trank’s Fantastic
    Four
dropped today. There have been a bunch of rumors that
the film is in trouble with executives complaining it’s confusing and too much like Chronicle. There
are also reports of major re-shoots. Presumably to head off the rumors,
20th Century Fox released this teaser trailer. There’s not much in it
to look at, so we’re not doing one of our obsessive trailer breakdowns,
but we’ll give you the highlights. In a reversal of what we normally
do, we’ll be asking you questions about the trailer.

    Here’s the trailer

    Here’s the official Fantastic
    Four movie synopsis:

    “The FANTASTIC
FOUR, a contemporary re-imagining of Marvel’s original and
longest-running superhero team, centers on four young outsiders who
teleport to an alternate and dangerous universe, which alters their
physical form in shocking ways. Their lives irrevocably upended, the
team must learn to harness their new abilities and work together to
save Earth from a former friend turned enemy.”

As was rumored they’ve changed the origin from scientists exploring
space and being hit by “cosmic rays”. Miles Teller plays Reed Richards AKA “Mr. Fantastic”, Kate Mara plays Sue Storm AKA “The Invisible Girl”, Michael B. Jordan plays Johnny Storm AKA “The Human Torch” , Jamie Bell plays Ben Richards AKA “The Thing” and Toby Kebbell plays Victor Domashev AKA “Doom”.

    1. Six people go into the teleporter. Who are the others and what happens
to them? Do they get powers too or are they dead?

    2. Doctor Doom is now a blogger named Victor Domashev who goes by the
nickname “Doom.” Why is he visiting the project?

    3. At the (:45) mark we see an IP address 23.21.190.125 which points to
the official Marvel page for Latveria (now a google search for Latveria in maps). Why?

    4. Johnny Storm’s father, Dr.
Franklin Storm (played by Reg E. Cathey) is Black and is a scientist on
the project. There has been a lot of speculation that Johnny Storm, who’s White in the comics, would be adopted. Is Sue
    Storm adopted or the step-daughter?

    5. We get a good look at The Thing. What do you think he looks like from
    the front?

    6. The voiceover is ominous. Could this be the voice of Doom that actor
Toby Kebbell said he was working on?

    Official Fantastic Four Summary

“The FANTASTIC FOUR, a contemporary re-imagining of Marvel’s original

and longest-running superhero team, centers on four young outsiders who teleport to an alternate and

dangerous universe, which alters their physical form in shocking ways. Their lives irrevocably upended, the

team must learn to harness their new abilities and work together to save Earth from a former friend turned

    enemy.”

    Directed by Josh Trank

Starring Miles Teller, Kate Mara, Michael B. Jordan, Jamie Bell and Toby Kebbell

    Release Dates: August 6, 2015

Good questions. Especially the fact that six go in, but there are only four of them.

I've had a bad taste in my mouth for a while on this one. I might go see it if I have extra cash laying around, and some extra time, otherwise it will have to wait. Doom is one of my favorite baddies, so if they screw him up again there will be heck to pay!

Well, from all heroes taken to movies, the Fantastic Four are like the least interesting to me. Or maybe it is because the previous movie was so boring and disappointing to me that they fell from the dragon's grace.

arrgghhh is my comic book response.

Why does everyone think that Fox own the fantastic four rights? The official trailer in Germany is on the Constantin page https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=dPDKYUPml64 and http://www.constantin-film.de/kino/fantastic-four/ as well as the marvel film wiki http://marvel-movies.wikia.com/wiki/Constantin_Film

As people go on about the chance of a cross over between foxs xmen and "foxs" fantastic four I sit wondering where the rumour started… I think it may have been here with the poster.

Anyway I hope they do Dr Doom properly, but also I hope people stop going on about hoping for xmen cameos and the like. It's like expecting spiderman to swing across the screen in my opinion.

This reboot looks like it should be pretty decent
