Hugh Michael Jackman was born on October 12 1968 in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. He’s best known for his long-running role as Wolverine in the X-Men movie series. He also played geeky roles in Van Helsing, The Prestige, and Real Steel. His role in Les Misérables got an Academy Award nomination for Best Actor, and won him a Golden Globe Award for Best Actor in a Musical or Comedy. He’s also a singer and dancer who won a Tony Award for his role in The Boy from Oz.

My wife has a thing for Hugh Jackman. Big time.
Ah, now that's better – told my hubby any man who can sing, dance, and act – well, WOW!
I used to think he looked like a young Clint Eastwood, and hoped he would do the always in the works Dark Tower adaptation (since the Gunslinger is famously based on Clint, he would be perfectly cast).
But I'm about wolvie'd out. Prestige was good, though. I have nothing to say really, can you tell?

I like that he can play a total badass and then when you see him in an interview he has this big goofy grin and you can't imagine him being Wolverine in that moment. And I agree with the person above that he would be great as Roland in Dark Tower.
