THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE, in theaters November 22nd, 2013

    Official Plot Outline

THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE begins as Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) has returned home safe after winning the 74th Annual Hunger Games along with fellow tribute Peeta Mellark (Josh Hutcherson). Winning means that they must turn around and leave their family and close friends, embarking on a “Victor’s Tour” of the districts. Along the way Katniss senses that a rebellion is simmering, but the Capitol is still very much in control as President Snow (Donald Southerland) prepares the 75th Annual Hunger Games (The Quarter Quell) – a competition that could change Panem forever.

THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE is directed by Francis Lawrence, and produced by Nina Jacobson’s Color Force in tandem with producer Jon Kilik. The novel on which the film is based is the second in a trilogy that has over 50 million copies in print in the U.S. alone. THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE opens on November 22, 2013.

Sorry, I didn't care for the first movie. I was bored.

    2. Clarissa Draper on April 9, 2013 4:13 pm

Cool look at the second movie.

    3. Christine Rains on April 9, 2013 7:47 pm

Thanks for the peek at the next movie. The books were fantastic and the first film pretty good, but not one I'd pay to go see at the theatre.

    4. SpacerGuy on April 9, 2013 8:07 pm

We'll have to wait and see which is more exciting the books or the movie!

    5. Maurice Mitchell on April 9, 2013 8:38 pm

I'm halfway through the first Hunger Games book. Not surprisingly, it's much better than the movie, but only because of the internal dialogue.

    6. The Golden Eagle on April 9, 2013 9:58 pm

I still haven't watched the first movie, so I probably won't see Catching Fire. Some of those pictures look pretty good, though.
