When Guardians of the Galaxy came out, its trailer took the Internet by storm, surprising everyone with its comedy, editing, and attitude. Well, YouTuber The Unusual Suspect created this trailer that imagines Star Wars in the same style. In many ways, this is symbolic of what they would make if the Star Wars trilogy was released today. The focus on comedy, the quick cuts from seemingly random moments, the action sequences, snippets of witty dialogue, the spoiler of the ending, and (of course) “Hooked on a Feeling.” It’s all here.

Trailers have changed over the years.
That was a surprisingly awesome edit. I can only imagine someone experiencing Star Wars for the first time through something like that…!
