Ant-Man (2015) Dr. Henry Pym Ant-Man onset pic

    What would make Star Wars
great again? What will Ant-Man’s costume look like? How many tickets
are people buying for The Hunger Games sequel? Could there be another
spin-off from Arrow in the works?

Find out in this week’s top 10 geekiest bits of the
    Internet.

    10. ARROW: Season 2: The SUICIDE SQUAD may Spin-off in addition to FLASH (via FilmBook)

A while back we shared how Grant Gustin is coming to Arrow and may spin-off into a Flash TV show.
Now a bit of casting news is leading to speculation that there may be a
Suicide Squad spin-off show on the way featuring Amanda Waller (Cynthia
Addai-Robinson), Bronze Tiger (Michael Jai White) and Deadshot (Michael Rowe).

    5. First Look: Ant-Man Costume (via Blastr)

Director Edgar Wright shared this onset pic of the Ant-Man costume. We got a peek at the blurry Ant-Man film test footage and it looks pretty solid. Ant-Man hits theaters July 31, 2015.

Here’s what Ant-Man looked like in the comics.

    4. 6 Photoshopped Pics of Wheaton in Star Trek(via TrekkieGirls)

“Check out some of these incredible photoshopped imaginings coming out of the Treknobabble Subreddit. Made by deadfraggle who made the TOS/TNG cross over pics that spread over the web like a secret whispered at Quarks.”

    Marvel’s
    Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
    –
    01×02 “0-8-4” (Recommended)

Plot: “Coulson and his S.H.I.E.L.D. agents travel to Peru to investigate an
object of unknown origin, codenamed 0-8-4. But when he runs into
Comandante Camilla Reyes, more than just sparks fly at 30,000 feet.”

    I
still love all the little references to the Marvel movies in this show.
The action scenes are great and the final scene featuring an Avengers
character took the episode to the next level. We still don’t know why
Coulson is (Really) alive, but Blastr compiled 18 intriguing fan theories about what’s going on with Agent Coulson and it’s a great list

Revolution – 02×02 “There Will Be Blood” (Recommended)

Plot: “Miles’s (Billy Burke) life is in grave danger as he finds himself in
the clutches of Titus Andover (Matt Ross). Charlie (Tracy Spiridakos)
is determined to find Monroe (David Lyons), as Rachel (Elizabeth
Mitchell) and her father, Dr. Porter (Stephen Collins) desperately
attempt to revive Aaron (Zak Orth). Meanwhile, Neville (Giancarlo
Esposito) hatches a plan to infiltrate the Patriots.”

Another episode that shows the tone of the show has changed
dramatically and going back to it’s roots. Lots more sword-fighting.
Lots of grit and grime. The bad guys are bad. The good guys are good
and this season is looking up.

I agreed with that letter to Abrams. Please no more Senate sessions and cute kids!

I like the Star Trek clip! Some great Star Trek News today.
Hope we get some better shots of Ant Man soon.
And thanks for including the Star Wars clip I found! Remember rule number five – keep Lucas away.

    3. DAVID WALSTON on October 4, 2013 5:05 pm

      Need more Ant Man!
I'd watch whatever Hayley Atwell is in.

    4. MPax on October 4, 2013 8:22 pm

That's not a great shot of Antman. Looks like a photo my dad would take. He excels at photographing people's behinds.

    5. Tony Laplume on October 4, 2013 9:57 pm

Thanks to the Star Trek commercial, I got to see a hilarious Star Trek: Voyager casting spoof featuring members of the Frasier cast.

As far as the advice to JJ Abrams…are they saying that it has to be exactly like the original trilogy? Because that's what I'm getting from it. Is that also why so many people had such problems with the prequels? Because I call that ridiculous.

Also, in a somewhat related note, that shot of Ant-Man makes him look like Boba Fett. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

    6. Yolanda Renee on October 4, 2013 11:49 pm

Ant-Man – really? That's well, I guess amazing – no real opinion as I wasn't aware of such a thing, but now will check it out!

    7. L. Diane Wolfe on October 5, 2013 7:06 pm

$94,000 is a lot for a comic book.

Whether JJ Abrams follows those rules or not, I'm sure he'll make much better films than the last three. I absolutely hated the final one.

    8. Craig Edwards on October 6, 2013 4:00 am

I'm really looking forward to a "smaller" Marvel movie with one of the lesser light characters – this could be really fun!

    9. 3guys1movie on October 7, 2013 8:53 pm

Finally adding Dr. Pym and his various incarnations to the Avengers/marvel film universe is long over due. Now where is Namor, The Wasp and Hercules?

    10. Colin Biggs on October 8, 2013 3:16 am

Let's just avoid any talk of Federations at all.
