What Do You Think Of ‘Doctor Who’ 2012 Season 7 Trailer? [Poll]

Can you believe it’s that time already? The trailer for the new season of Doctor Who (series 7) is online! From the looks of things it’s going to be amazing. It promises Daleks, Weeping Angels, River Song and dinosaurs on spaceships.

Here’s the BBC’s official series summary:

The new season will see the last days of the Ponds, with Karen Gillan and Arthur Darvill making their final rollercoaster voyage with The Doctor (Matt Smith). Amy (Karen Gillan) and Rory (Arthur Darvill) have been at the Doctor’s side for more than two seasons but what will he do after their heartbreaking departure?

New guest stars so far confirmed to star will include David Bradley, Rupert Graves and Mark Williams. Season 7 will then see a dramatic turn of events when The Doctor meets a new friend – the recently-announced new companion, played by Jenna-Louse Coleman. Prepare yourselves for thrills, adventures and dramatic surprises as the show builds towards its enormous, climactic 50th anniversary year.

Fourteen big, blockbuster-movie episodes – each a brand new epic adventure featuring new monsters and some familiar foes as you’ve never seen them before.

If that isn’t enough to get you excited look at the Doctor Who Series 7 publicity picture which gives a pretty big hint how Amy leaves the series.

No wonder Karen Gillian “didn’t stop crying for two weeks … in-between takes.”

What do you think? I’ll update this post next week with the best comments.

The guy who plays Dr. Who now is good. Just never got into the series.

      • Maurice Mitchell on August 3, 2012 4:26 am

Alex,I didn't think Smith would work. But he's good

    2. Melissa Bradley on August 2, 2012 2:47 pm

I haven't watched since SyFy stopped carrying the series so i don't know Matt Smith. I was HUGE into David Tennant, the very best Doctor ever along with Tom Baker. BBC America is not available on my cable, which sucks out loud let me tell you.

      • Maurice Mitchell on August 3, 2012 4:28 am

That does suck Melissa! Basket is number one and Tennant is two to me.

    3. Pat Dilloway on August 2, 2012 4:22 pm

My opinion would be Dr. WHO? I haven't watched a single second of it ever.

      • Maurice Mitchell on August 3, 2012 4:31 am

Who? Doctor Who Pat. That's who. LOL

i am a fan… i love all the people they have used since the restart… i enjoy it, i am far behind in watching the complete. the trailer looks great… dinosaurs, dinosaurs on a spaceship! classic!

    5. Benjamin Ward on August 3, 2012 12:01 am

Unless they kill Amy in the first episode of season 7, my guess I'd that she's mearly unconscious in this promo shot from the first episode "Asylum of the Daleks."

These last episodes of The Doctor with Amy and Rory look amazing! Dinosaurs on a spaceship, massive Dalek destruction, the old west and cyborgs and River Song! It looks fantastic!

I've been a fan for thirty years (thank you PBS, home video, Syuh Fyuh, and BBC America) and when they make it – I am there.

    7. Maurice Mitchell on August 3, 2012 3:22 am

I love this show Jeremy feel like I missed and dinosaurs in spaceships sounds so cool.

    8. Maurice Mitchell on August 3, 2012 3:26 am

Craig, PBS was the first place I saw Doctor Who and I've loved it ever since. LOL Syuh Fyuh

    9. Maurice Mitchell on August 3, 2012 3:27 am

Good point Benjamin. I'm assuming she'll make a quick exit, but I could be wrong.
