    On a related note, this is the first time running an contest using Rafflecopter, and I’m not sure if it was worth it. It’s insaneley easy to use as a contest runner. But is it easy for a contestant? I’m not sure.

      My contests usually have fewer than 20 entrants (or more often less than 10) so there's no point using an app. I just use random.org to pick a number and then count manually to see who it matches.

      The Rafflecopter contests that I have entered all required a ton of stuff. I thought that made it hard.

      Pat, thanks for your experiences. We've had some contests with small responses and others with huge responses. We never know what we're going to get and when it gets big it can be tricky.

      I noticed that too Michael. I tried to allow as many ways as possible to enter but I think it just made it confusing. Maybe if it had an "or" button.
