UPDATE Poll: Who's Your Favorite ‘Star Trek’ Movie Villain? [Star Trek]

The new Star Trek movie is coming ( May next year) and we still don’t know who the villain is. The rumor is that it’s Khan, but we don’t know for sure.

One thing’s for sure, Star Trek has had some amazing bad guys.

But, of all the movies, who’s your favorite villain?

Is it Khan from Star Trek II? Maybe it’s  the Romulan Nero from Star Trek 2008? Maybe an almost bad guy like Data’s brother B4 from Star Trek: Nemesis? What about a side character like the Vulcan traitor in Star Trek: The Undiscovered Country?

So, who’s it going to be? Let us know in the comments and the winner, along with the best comments, will be featured in this post next week.

UPDATED: The winner by three votes is Khan

Here are some of the great comments we got:

    Team Khan

I’d say the Borg in general are one of the best. Although still thought Khan rocked the house. – Alex J. Cavanaugh

I’ll give a little love to Kruge from The Search for Spock – but really it’s Khan all the way. – Craig

It’s gotta be Khan followed by the Borg. Not sure how the new sequel is
going to top Ricardo’s version of Khan but it can’t be close to his
    performance. – The Man-Cave

I was a huge “Next Generation” fan back in the day (the right age for it
    I guess) and I loved the episodes with Q. I know Q isn’t a movie
villain- but I had to give him a mention. Kahn has to be the best movie
    villain” – SQT

    Team Shinzon

I really like Nemesis (which is totally against the grain, I know), so I have to consider Shinzon. But there’s also the Borg Queen and even Dr. Soran to consider. The Next Gen films had some good villains, because they had to, being all Bondian like they were. Soran was tragic, and had some of the best lines of any villain. The Borg Queen was easily the best female character the franchise had seen to that point, evil or otherwise. But Shinzon was the first character since Q to force Picard to look in the mirror, and he succeeded better than “Tapestry.” That has to count for something. We normally see Picard as one of the most confident characters in the franchise, and Nemesis was all about shaking that, which was something pretty much every Next Gen movie tried to do, too… – Tony Laplume

Tony, you and I are probably in the minority, but I liked Nemesis too! Tom Hardy gave an excellent performance as Shinzon and it's nice to see him finally getting his due here in the US. Good villain.

Alex, the Borg are definitely in the top of the list. All of them or just the queen?

SQT, Q is still the most popular character from the show.
