Wonder Woman Kicks Nazi Butt in Fan Trailer [Movie]

The real Wonder Woman movie with Joss Whedon stalled, but this fan-made trailer is the next best thing. The trailer is set in World War II with Wonder Woman doing some serious hand-to-hand battles against Nazi hordes, and even shows WW using machine guns to take down a plane.

The trailer stars actress Nina Bergman, and is directed by Jesse V. Johnson. The video’s Facebook page explains: “We filmed at the Fort MacArthur location in San Pedro, CA., once housing two huge naval artillery pieces intended to protect the California coast from Naval invasion. We thought the use of the gun was going to be more controversial. The way we interpreted WW, was that she has super-human strength, but maybe only 25% stronger than a normal man. Her powers and gifts afforded her certain advantages, but above and beyond that she is a warrior, who will do whatever it takes – within the parameters of her philosophy – to achieve her goals. Sword, Discus, shield, or gun – they are the implements of a warrior.” The production snagged a cameo by Peter Stormare (Fargo, The Lost World: Jurassic Park, Prison Break), because apparently “he was a fan of Nina’s and offered to help out on the shoot.”

What do you think of the video? Should the real Wonder Woman movie have this look and feel? Or should it take a different angle? Let us know in the comments.
