Fantastic Four: First Steps: Everything Revealed at CCXPMX 2025

Marvel Studios presented the first clip for The Fantastic Four: First Steps with attendees at the CCXPMX event in Mexico. Sadly, that hasn’t been made public yet, but we have a thorough description.

Formerly known as Comic Con Experience, CCXP is a multi-genre entertainment and comic conference that has taken place in Mexico, Brazil, and Germany. It was held in Mexico last weekend.

    POSSIBLE SPOILER WARNING

Fans may resume counting the days until Marvel’s First Family makes what looks to be a successful MCU debut now that the rumors of a bad test screening have been thoroughly debunked.

If this first clip is any indication, the stakes will be incredibly high as the Fantastic Four attempt to protect the unborn Franklin Richards from the Silver Surfer (it appears rumors that Galactus wants the child were correct).

    According to @omelete,

“The Four are inside their ship and Sue is starting to go into labor. But the Silver Surfer is chasing them. Ben takes over the ship and starts trying to dodge her. They jump into a kind of hyperspace. The CGI is GREAT. We see Reed stretching and using his powers. The Surfer almost reaches Sue’s belly. She wants the baby.

“Johnny takes over the ship’s cannons and tries to shoot the Surfer. He makes jokes about her being sexy. Meanwhile, Sue continues to have contractions. Reed tells Ben to go into a black hole. Ben gets worried. Reed tells him to trust. End of scene,” the breakdown concludes.

Marvel Studios might be wise to consider showcasing more of the film’s cosmic adventure as the July release date approaches, as The Fantastic Four: First Steps might be more of one than the trailers have suggested.

Iron Studios released promotional photos for their hyper-realistic statues from the movie. They confirm and reveal our first look at young Franklin Richards!

The youngest member of this family, Franklin, who we recently saw for the first time, is anticipated to play a significant role in Avengers: Doomsday because of his capacity to bend and even construct realities.

The trailer already revealed that Sue is pregnant. This confirms that the baby will be born during the film.

Additionally, a brand-new poster for The Fantastic Four: First Steps that was only available on CCXPMX was unveiled. Check it out below.

Marvel Studios’ The Fantastic Four: First Steps presents Marvel’s First Family—Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic (Pedro Pascal), Sue Storm/Invisible Woman (Vanessa Kirby), Johnny Storm/Human Torch (Joseph Quinn), and Ben Grimm/The Thing (Ebon Moss-Bachrach)—as they take on their most difficult task to date, set against the colorful backdrop of a retro-futuristic world inspired by the 1960s.

They must protect Earth from a hungry cosmic deity named Galactus (Ralph Ineson) and his mysterious Herald, Silver Surfer (Julia Garner), forcing them to strike a balance between their heroic responsibilities and the strength of their familial ties. It becomes quite personal as if Galactus’ scheme to eat the entire planet and all of its inhabitants weren’t already terrible enough.

Also at CCXPMX Joseph Quinn disclosed that the Mole Man, the first enemy of the Fantastic Four in the comics, appeared in the movie.

Natasha Lyonne, John Malkovich, and Paul Walter Hauser have been assigned to mystery parts. With Avengers: Doomsday on the horizon, it’s safe to assume that Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom will make an appearance.

The screenplay for The Fantastic Four: First Steps was co-written by Josh Friedman, co-writer of Avatar: The Way of Water, and Cam Squires of WandaVision. Eric Pearson (Black Widow) joined the team for a final polish.

On July 25, 2025, the film is scheduled to be released in theaters.
