The fresh images from Entertainment Weekly go with the new trailer. The full crew is seen below, ready for a space voyage.

Since we see Ebon Moss-Bachrach without any Thing CGI, we know that this shot and the first one must occur before they gain their powers.

The team’s powers are shown in the figure below. The large Thing-sized suit on the far left is noticeable.

The trailer released at Cinema-Con revealed that Sue Storm / Invisible Woman (Vanessa Kirby) is pregnant with Franklin. Notably, this picture covers her stomach.

Other details of the movie are clarified by the EW article. For instance, it validates the widely held belief that the movie takes place in the 1960s, but in a different reality. “Where Kirby meets Kubrick,” as director Matt Shakman puts it, refers to the collaboration between comic book artist Jack Kirby and director Stanley Kubrick.
“We knew that we’d be on another Earth, so we had a chance to reinvent what the ’60s looked like,” Shakman said. “I was really interested in imagining the Fantastic Four being astronauts. Instead of Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin going to the moon, what if it was Reed, Sue, Johnny, and Ben who were really the first to go into outer space, the first to push those boundaries?”
Finding the perfect cast was The Fantastic Four: First Steps was the “number one challenge,” according to Shakman. “It wasn’t just a search for who was the best Ben and who was the best Johnny, but also who was the best family,” he said. “It wasn’t just a search for who was the best Ben and who was the best Johnny, but also who was the best family,” Shakman said. “Who was the best married couple? Who were the best siblings and honorary uncle? So it’s been very gratifying to see the incredible chemistry that the four of them have had since the beginning.”
Some fans may be offended by Shakman’s denial of any rumors that Doctor Doom will make his debut in The Fantastic Four: First Steps.
“Doom’s a great character, but he takes up a lot of air,” remarked Shakman. “Doom and origin stories have both been adapted into movies in the past. We can view them differently because we’re not performing any of those things.”
On July 25, The Fantastic Four: First Steps will be released in theaters.
