Captain America: Civil War (2016) Steve Rogers / Captain America (Chris Evans), Tony Stark / Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.)

Here’s everything you may have missed this morning Wednesday, August 15, 2018. In Case You Missed It (ICYMI).

    1. Ethan Peck is DISCOVERY’s Spock via TrekCore

“One of the biggest casting questions of Star Trek: Discovery‘s second season has been addressed today, as CBS has revealed who will don the famously pointed ears of Enterprise science officer Spock in 2019: the answer is actor Ethan Peck.

“The 32-year-old Los Angeles native, grandson of legendary Hollywood actor Gregory Peck, will take on the role of Michael Burnham’s foster brother — and future Star Trek legend — Mr. Spock in the upcoming second year of Discovery, following in the footsteps of Zachary Quinto (who was the second primary actor to inhabit the role in the Kelvin Timeline films), and of course, the man who began the character, the late Leonard Nimoy.”

    5. Report: ‘Star Trek 4’ Deals For Chris Pine And Chris Hemsworth Have Stalled via Trek Movie

The story of the follow-up to Star Trek Beyond started two summers ago, when Paramount announced the next film in the Star Trek franchise would reunite Captain Kirk (Chris Pine) with his father, played by Chris Hemsworth in 2009’s Star Trek. However, according to The Hollywood Reporter, both Chris Pine and Chris Hemsworth have balked at Paramount’s attempt to renegotiate previous deals in an attempt to cut the budget for the film. According to THR, both actors are “walking away from the table.”

    7. Michael Caine Weighs In On ‘Inception’ Ending Debate via Heroic Hollywood

“When I got the script of Inception, I was a bit puzzled by it, and I said to him, ‘I don’t understand where the dream is…’When is it the dream and when is it reality?’ He said, ‘Well when you’re in the scene it’s reality.’ So, get that — if I’m in it, it’s reality. If I’m not in it, it’s a dream.” Michael Caine said.
