New “Rampage” Movie Poster, Release Date and Behind-the-Scenes Photos

See new photos and a poster for the Rampage movie, loosely based on the 1980s video game, starring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.

Rampage is about an albino gorilla, wolf, and crocodile that are transformed into giant monsters because of a genetic experiment and tear across the United States.

    Here’s the new poster:

The release date has been moved from April 20th to April 13th, moving it from the new release date for “Avengers: Infinity War”.

Johnson said, “Alert 🚨: THE RAMPAGE is officially unleashed around world APRIL 13th. Of course, it had nothing to do with Tony Stark and his Avenger gang moving their release date up a week 😉 These movie release dates are always a chess game, and in the end, I want EVERYONE playing to win. And now that we’ve moved to April 13th, it pretty much guarantees that I’ll be home for the birth of my baby daughter – so thank you Mr. Stark. We all win. And if you Avengers ever wanna have a lil’ fun and Rumble… you know where to find me. APRIL 13th – THE RAMPAGE BEGINS WORLDWIDE. 🐊🦍🐺”

Total Film magazine has released some cool behind-the-scenes images. The first four show Johnson, Naomi Harris, and Jeffrey Dean Morgan filming and give the scale and special effects for the film.

Here’s some concept art that potentially spoils the end of the film…or does it?

So far it looks pretty cool and, while I’m still skeptical, it looks like fun.

There’s still no word if Johnson will be dropping the “People’s Elbow” on them, but we sure can smell what the Rock is cooking.

    About Rampage

Rampage Movie Official Synopsis: “Primatologist Davis Okoye (Dwayne Johnson) shares an unshakable bond with George, an extraordinarily intelligent, silverback gorilla that’s been in his care since birth. When a rogue genetic experiment goes wrong, it causes George, a wolf, and a reptile to grow to a monstrous size. As the mutated beasts embark on a path of destruction, Okoye teams up with a discredited genetic engineer (Naomi Harris) and the military to secure an antidote and prevent a global catastrophe.”

Rampage stars Dwayne Johnson as Davis Okoye, Naomie Harris as Dr. Kate Caldwell, Malin Åkerman as Claire Wyden, Joe Manganiello as Burke, Jeffrey Dean Morgan

    Directed by Brad Peyton

Screenplay by Ryan Engle, Carlton Cuse, Ryan J. Condal, and Adam Sztykiel

The Rampage movie is scheduled to be released April 13, 2018 (US).
