The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 (2015) – Recommended
Source: Flickering Myth |
Summary: The worldwide phenomenon of
The Hunger Games continues to set the world on fire with The Hunger
Games: Mockingjay – Part 1, which finds Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer
Lawrence) in District 13 after she literally shatters the games
forever. Under the leadership of President Coin (Julianne Moore) and
the advice of her trusted friends, Katniss spreads her wings as she
fights to save Peeta (Josh Hutcherson) and a nation moved by her
courage.
The tone of the film is very different from the first film and makes it
a very powerful film. Donald Sutherland went from a cameo in the first
film to being one of the greatest film villains ever. Jennifer Lawrence
shows an amazing emotional range as she goes from PTSD to a full-on
soldier. Josh Hutcherson’s character changes drastically through the
film and proves he’s a complicated character. Francis Lawrence returns
as director and creates an epic film and Jo Willems captures the scope
of this film with his gorgeous cinematography. The scenes in District
12 are the most gut-wrenching of all.

Do I have to close my eyes to eat the Weeping Angel donuts?
Legos make everything better.
The new Jurassic Park sounds like Deep Blue Sea meets Westworld/Futureworld which were at least Michael Crichton stories.
My son said he liked the new Hunger Games movie. I haven't even seen the first. I best get started.
Jada Pinkett-Smith's mother has no right to look that good at 61.
Jada's family has good genes. Wow.
Those donuts look yummy.
