This Is Not a Picture of Scarlett Johansson [Stuff]

I repeat, this is not a picture of Scarlett Johansson. No, this is a picture of a 1/6 poseable scale model of her, an action figure created for the upcoming Captain America: The Winter Soldier. This startlingly realistic rendition of Johansson as Black Widow was created by Hot Toys, known for their high level of detail. Here are some more photos you can marvel at:

Frankly, if this thing was life-sized, geeks would be marrying it…seriously. It features multiple accessories including extra hands and guns, fabric hair, and an authentic reproduction of her costume from the movie. It’s available for pre-order, but I wouldn’t recommend getting one for your kids – it’ll run you around $200.

You kids don’t know how good you have it. In my day, this is the kind of quality we had in action figures.

What did you think of the action figure?

I figured that with the blank expression and crazy eyes. 🙂

What I can never quite figure out is how they keep that really terrible hairstyle, not so much the color, but the style. It's terrible. And it doesn't look better in action figure form.

    7. Craig Edwards on March 14, 2014 4:44 pm

      Dang!

    8. Nigel Mitchell on March 15, 2014 12:20 am

Yeah, it's just kind of functional

    9. Nigel Mitchell on March 15, 2014 12:20 am

I think Scarlett has that expression all the time
