Independence Day is a really fun movie, but I don’t think anyone would argue it was the most logical and consistent film. CinemaSins has done a rundown of all the goofs, logical errors, and nonsensical behavior in the movie.

The whole idea of the computer virus working realy was the clincher.
On the other hand the ending of this video is too much! :-}
I totally didn't notice any of these things when watching the movie. These short error bits are fun to watch.
I loved ID4 when it came out. It never made the most sense to me, but I was blown away by the FX when it was new. This movie did have some serious flaws, but, as I've said before, sometimes these vids pick on some pretty nitty things.
As a life-long (insofar as my life did not start in 1996 but that's almost twenty years ago and so it's close enough) fan of the film, I don't endorse this kind of nonsense. Brent Spiner was a crazy person for your entertainment, people!!!
