X-Men: Days of Future Past (2014)- Ororo Munroe/Storm (Halle Berry), Logan/Wolverine (Hugh Jackman), Professor Charles Xavier (Patrick Stewart), , Erik Lehnsherr/Magneto (Ian McKellen) – Source |
It’s time for the results of last times poll and the new question.
This week the 20th Century Fox released a new trailer for X-Men: Days of Future Past and it’s taken the Internet by storm. Personally I just about wet my pants the trailer is so good. The action is insane, the drama is cranked up to eleven and every single character from the series is coming back including Halle Berry as Storm.
The X-Men film series is made up of six films: X-Men (2000), X2 (2003), X-Men: The Last Stand (2006), X-Men Origins: Wolverine (2009), X-Men: First Class (2011), The Wolverine (2013) and now X-Men: Days of Future Past (2014). Right now it’s the 15th highest-grossing film franchise ever, having grossed over $3 billion worldwide.
Bryan Singer left the franchise to make Superman Returns, but he’s back for the sequel to X-Men 3. X-Men: Days of Future Past is inspired by the Chris Claremont and John Byrne’s X-Men comic book storyline “Days of Future Past” and tells the story about Wolverine going back to the past to stop a dystopian future.
You can watch the trailer below in case you haven’t seen it, or love it so much you can’t stop watching it.
So here’s the question: Will X-Men: Days of Future Past Be the Best or Worst in the Series? It’s a multi-select question, so pick which movie X-Men Days of Future Past will be better than. You can pick one or all of them.
The results of last week’s poll – How Would You Bring Star Trek Back to TV? – is that 40% of you think they should they should use a new ship and characters with the second choice basing it on the new movies. Several commentors, like Tony, suggested making a new ship and characters in the world of the new movies. Either way, I think it’s a great idea. They could call it Star Trek: The Next Next Generation or Star Trek: The Abrams Generation. Maybe you have an idea what they could call the new series.
Will X-Men Days of Future Past be the best or worst of the franchise? Why do you think that? What would you call a new Star Trek series?

I haven't gotten a chance to watch the trailer yet. Of course trailers can be deceptive since they usually take the best bits of a 2 1/2 hour movie.
If they made a new Trek show they'd probably do like Voyager and Enterprise and name it after the ship. Or you could always go with something like Star Trek: The New Adventures or whatever.
I am unsure about this, I know my wife liked the trailer… I am still riding the fence.
This one better be the best for the sake of the franchise.
It HAS to be better than Wolverine! The trailer is amazing and so is the cast. Second one is still my favorite, so we'll see.
Has the potential to be the best of them!
I enjoyed them all but can't judge till it's out!
Happy Halloween!
I figure we got a year. Might as well jump to conclusions now! That's a good idea for a title.
It's fence riding time Jeremy because I know you avoid spoilers, but it's cool your wife liked the trailer!
A lots riding on this one David.
