Happy Free Comic Book Day! What is Free Comic Book Day? As the name implies, Free Comic Book Day is a single day when participating comic book specialty shops across North America and around the world give away comic books absolutely free to anyone who comes into their shops. Free Comic Book Day is held the first Saturday in May each year.

Yay for free comics! I'll be heading down to the comic store once the kid is awake from his nap.
If they were offering them as apps, I'd be downloading right now.
The shop I went to this evening ran out of the actual free comics, so they pulled a bunch of random back issues and had those as giveaways. Way cool.
