X-Men Days of Future Past
While we don’t know the plot of the X-Men: First Class sequel, we do know that Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen will be back and they’re talking to Hugh Jackman.
“What a gas! I mean, Patrick Stewart and I have been have just been playing “Waiting for Godot” throughout England and in the West End of London.” McKellen said. “So, we’ve stayed in touch. We can’t believe it [laughs]. I thought these were Fassbender and McAvoy’s parts, but — no, no — we’re back. We’ll give them a run for their money. I mean, I haven’t read the script, so I don’t know how much we’ve got to do. But, to be back in that world, and for Bryan to be doing it — with all the success he’s had in the meantime — it’s wonderful. Wonderful.” He also said he thought Michael Fassbender was “first class” and ” better than me” as young Magneto.

Avatar
Director James Cameron said he’s working on scripts for sequels to Avatar and hopes “to have the scripts completed by February and begin filming by the end of next year.” He said, “I want to get these scripts nailed down, I don’t want to be writing the movie in post production. We kind of did that on the first picture, I ended up cutting out a lot of scenes and so on and I don’t want to do that again.”

Superman
Zack Snyder On Costume Change
“The costume was a big deal for me, and we played around for a long time. I tried like crazy to keep the red briefs on him. Everyone else said, ‘You can’t have the briefs on him.’ I looked at probably 1,500 versions of the costumes with the briefs on. If you look at the costume, it’s very modern, but the relationship to the original costume is strong. You come onto a project like this, and you hear about modernization and you hear about bringing things forward to today, and all you can do is hope that it’s going to look cool and different from anything you’ve seen before.”

Iron Man
Kevin Feige Quotes About Iron Man 3
“By the end of Avengers, when a portal is opened up in Manhattan and he’s met Thor and The Hulk and the Chitauri are coming down on him. he realizes that he doesn’t know everything; we think that has had an effect on his psyche, and then his world is blown out from underneath him
“It’s not a serious movie, but we seriously dig into exploring more of Tony. The trick is just trying to make great movies. We try to make them all great, all different and all fresh. What you’ll see in Iron Man 3 is some very unique directions that were taken.
“The notion in the movie is that a red, white and blue suit is a bold statement, and it’s meant to be. With Rhodey, he’s very much the foil to Tony’s eccentricities, and in this one you get to see this and be reminded of the trust and friendship between them in that great Shane Black buddy-cop fashion
“Iron Man 3 doesn’t feature any of the other Avengers, or Nick Fury showing up, or any of those world-blending conceits that the Phase One films had. You have to keep in mind that Iron Man 3 had been in the works for almost a year, year and a half before The Avengers was released. We’re sticking to the vision for these films, and showing once again that these characters are just as interesting alone as they are together.
“Early – and very late – drafts of Iron Man 1 featured The Mandarin as a villain. The Mandarin is his most famous foe in the comics mainly because he’s been around the longest. If you look, there’s not necessarily a definitive Mandarin storyline in the comics. So it was really about having an idea. In terms of the Fu Manchu stereotyping that was involved, we never had any interest in that. He’s relentless. Assuming that he’s the one responsible for what happens to Tony’s house, no other villain has been able to strike that fast and that hard at one of our heroes. He’s very much about believing that the world needs to learn, and he wants to bend the world to his vision.”

Star Trek
Wil Wheaton screwed up an autograph and turned it into a hilarious charity item. “You uncap your pen and scrawl your magnificent autograph, which you’ve developed for years and years after tens of thousands of efforts, across one side of the card.” He says, “But then, for reasons that may or may not be related to the two homebrewed beers you’ve enjoyed — and earned, because remember you have spent four surprisingly emotional days reliving pretty much your entire life through artifacts — you finish your signature with a flourish that drags an angry black line right across your face.
“‘Well, crap,’ you might say. ‘I’ve ruined this, just like some angry people say I ruined that show they loved twenty-five years ago.’
“But then you get an idea! You know how to save it and turn it into a priceless work of collectable art that will surely sell on an online auction site for ones or even fives of dollars. I mean, we’re not talking dented ping pong ball money, but it’s still something nice to give to your local humane society. So you start to turn the line into sunglasses, and when you’re drawing the second lens, you realize that maybe you should have just turned it into an eye patch, because that would make Wesley Crusher cool like Snake Plissken…”
Star Trek Into Darkness Synopsis
“In Summer 2013, pioneering director J.J. Abrams will deliver an explosive action thriller that takes Star Trek Into Darkness.
“When the crew of the Enterprise is called back home, they find an unstoppable force of terror from within their own organization has detonated the fleet and everything it stands for, leaving our world in a state of crisis.
“With a personal score to settle, Captain Kirk leads a manhunt to a war-zone world to capture a one man weapon of mass destruction.
“As our heroes are propelled into an epic chess game of life and death, love will be challenged, friendships will be torn apart, and sacrifices must be made for the only family Kirk has left: his crew.
“Star Trek Into Darkness, starring Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Zoe Saldana, Karl Urban, John Cho, Bruce Greenwood, Simon Pegg, Anton Yelchin, Benedict Cumberbatch, Alice Eve and Peter Weller, arrives on May 17th, 2013.”

I'm just happy there will BE a Justice League movie! About time.
You're right Alex. If they do it right, it could be bigger than Avengers!
did the guy with the tardis room… say he still lived at home? i skipped many of your post, because i wanted to know nothing about certain films… i am sure they are good reads and revealing… like lindsey lohan… hey, i put my iron man 3 vid… i wanted to share it with guys.
Yeah Jeremy. And he lives in the back yard! Still cool though. I want people to be able to scan through so feel free to browse. Your Iron Man vid is awesome. I tweeted it.
The brief-less suit in the comics is pretty cool. It's supposed to be a Kryptonian spacesuit kind of thing. I wouldn't mind if they used that in the movie.
I'm passingly familiar with the costume from the comics and it does make sense Pat. I just miss the familiar I guess. If they kept the Krypton origin it would be pretty interesting I think.
I love that Chewie is taller than Darth Vader. I do wonder how Patrick Stewart will reprise Xavier, considering he was killed off in his last appearance. Still glad he and McKellen are returning, though. I disagree with McKellen. Fassbender is fine, but he's no Ian McKellen. Maybe in his second appearance Fassbender will figure out what makes Magneto tick. "First Class" concentrated too much on an arc that was supposed to extreme his descent into villainy, but muddled the details too much.
Pretty hyped for IM3.
Remember in a cookie scene Patrick Stewart transferred his consciousness to some dude in a coma, so at least that part of him was alive.
Aweseom on the Tardis room. If I had the money, I'd do something like that… lol The photo of the Star Wars cast is great. Carrie is so tiny.
Thanks for the information about police
auctions very helpful. http://www.policeauctions.com/
I figured the Tardis room would cost more then that – awesome post as always!
Its such as you learn my mind! You appear to understand
a lot about this, like you wrote the book in it or something.
I think that you simply could do with some p.c.
to force the message house a bit, however other than that, this is excellent blog.
A fantastic read. I will definitely be back.

Great post! Fun tidbits! Can't wait for Iron Man 3 and that Wil Wheaton story made me chuckle. Good for him turning a snafu into a charity item! 😀 Awesome!
