‘The Dark Knight’ Joker’s ‘Got Milk.” Do you? [Batman]

The Dark Knight Joker (Heath Ledger) drinks milk

It’s not easy being a Batman villain. Thankfully, they got a little help. From milk!

We’ve had posters of  heroes like Superman, Wolverine  and Batman drinking milk. What about the villains?

So I made some posters to showcase their love of the frosty beverage. Here are six Batman villains pimping their favorite drink.

    Joker

“Would you like to know how I got these scars? My father was a
drunk…and a fiend. One day I was drinking a glass of milk when he sees me using his glass. He didn’t like that. Not. One. Bit. He starts laughing, breaks the glass on the counter and gives it back. Then makes me drink. Every last drop. So, now I always
drink milk! It always leaves me…smiling”- The Joker (Heath Ledger)

    Bane

“It doesn’t matter who I am… what matters is I drink milk. No one cared
who I was until I started to drink milk. It has protein for strong
muscles and calcium to build strong bones and backs. And you will need that after I am done with you. I
am your weak back’s reckoning. When Gotham is ashes… you have my permission to drink
    milk.” – Bane (Tom Hardy)

    Two Face

“I was Gotham’s white knight. Like milk. After my accident many
thought I was dead. Half. But I drink milk which is good at building
muscle and skin. I can use all the help I can get. The world is cruel,
and the only morality in a cruel world is milk. Unbiased. Unprejudiced.
Fair.” – Harvey Dent (Aaron Eckhart)

    Catwoman

“As a cat burglar I’m adaptable, but even I need energy. Milk is a
great source of energy. There’s a storm coming. You and your friends
better drink your milk. Because when it hits, you’re all gonna wonder
how you ever thought you could drink so little and leave so much for the
rest of us.” – Selina Kyle (Anne Hathaway)

    Ra’s al Ghul

“Is Ra’s al Ghul immortal? Yes. I have lived a long time thanks to
milk. Milk is full of vitamins and has been a check against human
corruption for thousands of years. Milkmen sacked Rome. We loaded trade
ships with rancid milk. A cow burned Chicago to the ground. Every time a
civilization reaches the pinnacle of its decadence, milk restores the
balance. So, drink milk and become more than a man. Become something
else entirely.” – Henri Ducard (Liam Neeson)

    Scarecrow

“Its scary how good milk is for the brain. I respect the mind’s power
over the body. It’s why I do what I do. That’s why I drink milk. It’s
good for the body and the mind. Perhaps you should have some. Clear your
head.” – Dr. Jonathon Crane (Cillian Murphy)

What do you think? Would these posters make you drink more milk?

The Harvey Dent one is best!

    2. Pat Dilloway on August 15, 2012 2:06 pm

Wow, so if I drink milk I can be an evil supervillain? Awesome! Count me in!

    3. Anthony G. Laplume on August 15, 2012 3:15 pm

The Joker, Ra's al Ghul, and Scarecrow have the best. But really, the Joker, as always.

    4. TheReluctantGeek on August 15, 2012 4:00 pm

Of course the Catwoman poster really works in this context, the only thing that would have worked better would have been to replace milk with cream. But given the nature of the copy and graphic you might have had some age-appropriate issues.

haha. loved this poster series. I like catwoman's 🙂

Jeremy. I wish I'd thought of that one. Great

Leisel, you're the first to mention Bane's which is the one I started with. Thanks!
