Battlestar Galactica Reboot Not Going To “Frak It Up”
Bryan Singer’s long rumored reboot film of the 1978 television show Battlestar Galactica is ramping up with a new writer. John Orloff, who also wrote the Shakespeare film Anonymous, said, “I have wanted to write this movie since I was 12 year old and [I] built a Galactica model from scratch out of balsa wood, cardboard, old model parts and LEDs. I love BSG, and I would pass on the job rather than frak it up.”
I dunno. The television series pretty much did everything you could do with the concept, but maybe there’s something left.

“Enders Game” Gets A Release Date
The film based on Orson Scott Card’s classic science fiction novel “Ender’s Game
” has a release date and casting call. Summit Entertainment has set a March 15, 2013 release date for the film about a young boy in the future who goes through training to be a military leader. This is one of my favorite novels, so I’m looking forward to it.
