See the influence that Glen A. Larsen had on television. Glen Albert Larson died on November 14, 2014 at 77 and the world lost one of the greatest American television producers ever. He was the creator of such classic television series as Battlestar Galactica, Quincy, M.E., The Hardy Boys/Nancy Drew Mysteries, B. J. and the Bear, The Fall Guy, Magnum, P.I. and Knight Rider.
He started aout as a singer in the 1956 group The Four Preps which produced a number of hit records. His early success was with the development for television of The Six Million Dollar Man, based on Martin Caidin’s novel Cyborg. He went on to have a slew of successful shows including some classic science fiction shows. Here’s an infographic that shows the number of shows he’s had over the years and how long each ran.

Definitely Battlestar Galactica – the 70's one over the most recent. Was also a big fan of Six Million Dollar Man (I even had the action figure) and always enjoyed Buck Rogers. Erin Gray was hot!
That was quite a hot streak back in the 70s.
