Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is quickly approaching, and the movie is hitting  US theaters next week.

Yesterday a new clip from Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 movie was released and it’s gut-wrenching in it’s sweetness and heart.

The clip is called “It’s Good to Have Friends” and shows four animals choosing names for themselves. The four are the experiments of Herbert Edgar Wyndham also known as The High Evolutionary (Chukwudi Iwuji).

    Watch it below:

I’ll recap what we see in the clip. Rocket (Bradley Cooper) and his three friends. Lylla the Otter (Linda Cardellini), Floor the Rabbit (Mikaela Hoover), and Teefs the Walrus (Asim Chaudhry) all lie in cages and give each other names. Rocket tells the others that one day he wants to build a great machine. And he and his friends are going to go “flying together into the forever and beautiful sky”.

The clip ends with Lyla saying, “It’s really good to have friends.” The four are prisoners of the film’s main villain. He’s a scientist obsessed with genetic modification who calls himself High Evolutionary.

The cute fuzzy animals are clearly being mistreated and have equipment piercing their cute fur and covering their mouths.

The most emotional part of this clip is we know the director James Gunn. First of all he can make us cry over a tree dying (at least I did). He also loves to kill off characters. We don’t know what’s going to happen but we know little Rocket is going to have a rough life.

This clip confirms The High Evolutionary is the most evil villain in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. If one hair on sweet little Floor’s bunny tail gets hurt then I hope you join me in burning Marvel Studios to the ground.

About Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 (2023)

Official synopsis: “In Marvel Studios Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 our beloved band of misfits are looking a bit different these days. Peter Quill, still reeling from the loss of Gamora, must rally his team around him to defend the universe along with protecting one of their own. A mission that, if not completed successfully, could quite possibly lead to the end of the Guardians as we know them.”

    Directed by James Gunn

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3″ stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper, Karen Gillan, Pom Klementieff, Elizabeth Debicki, Sean Gunn, Sylvester Stallone, Will Poulter, Chukwudi Iwuji, Daniela Melchior, Michael Rosenbaum, Maria Bakalova,
