    Recap Twisted Metal (2025): S2E02 – “DOLF4C3”

In a flashback set ten years before, Dollface and several women are forced to sit in the ladies’ room while the boys conduct business. But it turns out the ladies are calling the shots. They smoke weed together, and Dollface proposes they usurp the men in the other room. The girl kicks the guys out in bloody glory.

John wakes up in the present and discovers that he is shackled to a bed in the Dollface camp. Here, Quiet and John are reunited, as is Krista (Dollface), who identifies herself as John’s sister and calls him Lionel. But when John learns this, he gives her an awkward hug because he has amnesia.

Dollface shows John around the camp, revealing their plans and intentions. Quiet encourages John to open up and not cut himself off. But that’s exactly what John wants to do, and he proposes to a remote cabin together. Another awkward moment for Mr. Doe. Quiet wants to join the tournament and break down the Walls separating the rich insiders from the outside world.

John storms to Krista accusing her of brainwashing his friend. But his sister reminds him that Quiet has changed a lot over their time apart. John is conflicted.

He’s ready to compete against Quiet and Ashley in a race to see who’ll drive for the Dolls. To his astonishment, though, Quiet wins and is selected to captain the Dolls in the competition. John offers her encouragement and agrees to ride shotgun in the race. But in order to have a shot, they need some good weapons, which means they have to drive to Diesel City.

We switch to Blackfield Asylum at the end of the episode, when Mr. Grimm receives a letter. Calypso is asking if he’ll drive for him. He picks up his helmet and responds, “We will.”

    Overall: Watch Twisted Metal (2025): S2E02 – “DOLF4C3”

The second episode of the series focuses on John and Quiet’s reunion, but it doesn’t go as planned. Quiet’s transformation is evident in her bond with the Dolls. The episode rekindles old magic with their banter, and with Grimm entering the tournament, the next installment promises a bloody adventure. It’s a fun ride so I’m giving this episode 4 out of 5 stars
