1. Elizabeth Olsen Doesn’t Miss Playing Scarlet Witch: ‘I’m Not Calling Kevin Feige Every Day with Ideas’ | Indiewire
“No, I don’t,” Olsen said when asked if she misses playing Scarlet Witch. “I think it’s been almost 10 years of playing her. And I’ve loved it. And I think the reason why I am not calling Kevin Feige every day with ideas is because I’m really proud of what we were able to do. I think ‘WandaVision’ was a really surprising opportunity.”
2. One Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back Scene Was Filmed In George Lucas’ Swimming Pool | Slashfilm
3. Ian Malcolm’s Sexy Pose In Jurassic Park Was Improvised By Jeff Goldblum | Slashfilm
In a 2022 interview with Vanity Fair, Goldblum allegedly admitted that the script did not call for him to be shirtless. It “had nothing to do with my character,” he said. “It had nothing to do with the movie. I don’t know; it just happened.”
It was later immortalized in a 25-foot statue and a hilarious Funko Pop figure – Jurassic Park-Dr. Ian Malcolm Wounded Exclusive.
4. A New Across the Spider-Verse Short Film Sees Miles Battle Anxiety | Gizmodo
“The Spider Within” is a short movie about Miles dealing with his own trauma and anxieties related to being Spider-Man and a superhero. In an interview with The Wrap, Dampier refers to the movie as “horror”. In order to portray Miles’ mental state as he copes with an anxiety attack that is made worse by a night of insomnia, Dampier drew on his own experiences with sleep paralysis and panic attacks. It hasn’t been released yet but it’s expected soon.
5. Superman: Legacy Will Bring The Authority to the Forefront | Gizmodo
The Authority is a DC Wildstorm character who first appeared in the comic book of the same name by Warren Ellis and Bryan Hitch in 1999. The character was largely developed during Ellis and Tom Raney’s Stormwatch run from 1993 to 1997. They were promoted at the time as a heroic covert ops team that “gets things done no matter what,” which implied that they would execute their adversaries if required (or desired). Although the characters were in a distinct universe from the main DC Universe, the group was integrated into it with the New 52. In the more contemporary Superman & the Authority miniseries by Grant Morrison and Mikel Jann, the Man of Steel assembled his own version of the group.
The Authority from the comic book squad will also appear in the next movie, according to a Hollywood Reporter article from Friday. After casting for Lois and Clark has been finalized, it appears that those roles—as well as that of Superman’s adversary Lex Luthor—will be cast. Father’s Day weekend is when screen tests are reportedly scheduled for those two roles, so it will be some time before we see who may or may not be in the running to play the Authority figures. That kind of seeding makes sense given that that crew is slated to get its own movie, which will be the second film in this whole thing and be co-written by Gunn.
6. Jerry Goldsmith Companion’ Books Kickstarter Surpasses $85,000 – Read Exclusive Excerpt | Trekcore

7. Sylvester Stallone Admits Arnold Schwarzenegger Was the ‘Superior’ Action Movie Star: ‘He Had the Body. He Had the Strength’ | Variety
Schwarzenegger is praised by Stallone for increasing the actor’s reliance on action movies. “You actually relied upon your body to tell the story,” according to Stallone. “Dialogue was not necessary. I saw that there was an opportunity because no one else was doing this except some other guy from Austria, who doesn’t need to say much… He was superior. He just had all the answers. He had the body. He had the strength. That was his character.”
“I had to have my a** kicked constantly, whereas Arnold, he never got hurt much,” Regarding the difference in their action hero personas, Stallone continued. “And I’m going, ‘Arnold, you could go out and fight a dragon and you’d come back with a Band-Aid.'”
In the documentary, Schwarzenegger praises Stallone equally. “Every time he released a film like ‘Rambo II,’ I had to figure out a way of now outdoing that,” he said. “Every time he came out with a movie like ‘Rambo II,’ I had to figure out a way of now outdoing that. Without Stallone, I maybe wouldn’t have been as motivated in the ’80s to do the kind of movies that I did and to work as hard as I did. I’m a competitive person.”

9. Marvel’s ‘Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3’ Flies Past $800 Million Worldwide | Heroic Hollywood
Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 continues to soar above $800 million at the global box office, continuing its celestial trajectory. Thanks to this outstanding accomplishment, the third entry in the fan-favorite franchise has outperformed its 2014 predecessor in terms of ticket sales.
But Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 hasn’t passed the box office of the second film, Vol. 2, despite its enormous success. The 2017 release Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is still the franchise’s highest-grossing movie to date, with $863 million in total worldwide ticket sales.
10. How Dwayne McDuffie Changed the Face of Comics and Superheroes | DC
Beginning in 1987 at Marvel, McDuffie would change the industry throughout the course of his career in comics. Damage Control, a hilarious team interpretation of the more mundane aspects of superheroes, was his most well-known invention there. In 2022, a more military iteration of the crew that had existed for four decades was introduced on television. That was the level of influence McDuffie’s theories had. They have the ability to mold something as big as Hollywood even decades later.
But McDuffie’s most notable accomplishment would undoubtedly be the foundation of Milestone Media. With the help of a licensing agreement with DC, McDuffie, Denys Cowan, Michael Davis, and Derek T. Dingle founded the publisher in 1993, introducing characters like Static, Hardware, Icon, and the Blood Syndicate while also promoting and publishing their stories under the Milestone imprint. With the relaunch of Milestone in 2021, this partnership would continue to develop over time, resulting in the 2010s in which the Milestone characters joined the DC Universe before going back to their own “Dakotaverse” for the first time.
