Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse: Miles Morales Movie Villains Confirmed

Last night, at CinemaCon, the three villains for “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse” were revealed as Ultimate versions of Green Goblin, the Kingpin, and The Prowler. The upcoming computer-animated movie starring Shameik Moore (“The Get Down”) as Miles Morales aka Spider-Man.

Last night JoBlo announced the news via Twitter.

The villains aren’t a complete surprise but it is interesting to see how the movie will juggle the three villains. We know Mahershala Ali (“Moonlight”) provides the voice of Miles’ uncle Aaron Davis a burglar and career criminal. He later becomes the villain known as The Prowler who steals Osborn tech. Will he wear the Iron Spider armor from the comics?

Liev Schreiber (“X-Men Origins: Wolverine”) has been cast as an unnamed character and he’s a lock for the voice of Norman Osborn / Green Goblin although it’s possible he does the voice of The Kingpin.

Brian Tyree Henry (“Atlanta”) does the voice of Miles’ father Jefferson Davis.

It’s pretty exciting that they’re having Miles face off against a villain best known for Peter Parker. Great stuff and makes the movie look even more like a step forward in diversity.

What do you think of the three villains for Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse?
