    Marilou, Nathan and Mark Hamill

Star Wars Celebration at the Anaheim Convention Center ran from April 16-19, 2015. We never got to go, but thanks to the magic of the Internet we get to share in the experience. The highlight of the convention was the Star Wars VII panel. In this backstage clip from StarWars.com voice actor James Arnold Taylor and Mark Hamill sat down to talk about what it was like being on the panel and returning as Luke for Star Wars VII. He also shared some old photos of family and his adorable son Nathan. They were taken while Hamill was filming Star Wars: Return of the Jedi.

Behind the Scenes Return of the Jedi

In the video, Hamill also talks about his children’s relationship with Star Wars, why he hates spoilers and explains why he’s not a “beard-guy”.

You can also see an interview with Billy Dee Wiliams and his son Corey Dee where Mr. Williams talks about being Lando Calrissian in Star Wars: Rebels and the upcoming comics and his son talks about playing Katuu in Return of the Jedi.

You can also watch the full Star Wars Force Awakens panel on YouTube

The photo with his son inside R2D2 is priceless.
Since Lucas isn't involved, I am excited about the film.

Thanks for the star wars hamill interview, geektwins. It was fun just listening to Hamill reminisce about the old days and the movie.

In 1983 I would have killed to be on the set of the movie like his kid.

Tell me about it Pat. If I could go back in time they'd be wondering who the black guy photobombing all the photos is

    5. Maurice Mitchell on April 30, 2015 5:15 am

It is fun Spacerguy and who knew he'd be back so many years later.

all those images, it's like Mark knew we would still be talking about the films… his family hopefully gets the magnitude those films changed the lives of many. as it created a new fandom, much like Star Trek…we found our home in a place many will never see… the stars, planets and other races.

    8. Karen Woodham on April 30, 2015 3:32 pm

Amazing photos, I would loved to have been there while they were being taken, absolutely love Star Wars, I remember seeing the first one, the first time it was released, totally blew me away.

    9. Maurice Mitchell on May 1, 2015 2:23 am

That would have been my dream too Karen!

    10. Maurice Mitchell on May 1, 2015 2:26 am

It's amazing to think that they knew they were making something special Jeremy
