Animated Star Trek Breaking Bad pie-eating contest – Source |
J.J. Abrams, please add this insane bit of Star Trek fan fiction into your next movie!
I’ve heard a lot about Breaking Bad, but I’ve only seen a few episodes. This scene from the show explains
why it’s so popular.
Sunday’s episode of Breaking Bad season 5, the final
season, broke ratings records. The acclaimed drama, starring Bryan
Cranston, had 5.9 million viewers according to Nielsen ratings.
Vince Gilligan created the American television drama and it’s
playing on the cable network AMC. The story follows Walter
White (Bryan Cranston), a 50-year-old high school
chemistry teacher in Albuquerque. After White is diagnosed
with lung cancer, he uses his knowledge of chemistry to make
crystal meth with one of his former students Jesse
Pinkman (Aaron Paul) to make money for his family.
In one scene two stoners, Brandon “Badger” Mayhew (Matt L. Jones) and Skinny
Pete (Charles Baker), got into a conversation about Star Trek and it’s
brilliantly demented as they talk about a pie-eating contest and the
transporters. It’s been animated by Matt Czap from eatthattoast.com. Warning: The
ending, even animated, is pretty gruesome.
J.J. Abrams should add this scene to the Star Trek Into Darkness sequel. It
would fit perfectly with the style of humor in the new movies. Minus
the killing of Chekov, of course.

What do you think
of the video? Should Abrams try and work this scene into the script?

Yes! Breaking Bad is one demented show and that scene was funny. Watching that series is like watching a train wreck…
That's like the 23rd Century version of bulimia. Instead of puking you just beam the unwanted food out! That was pretty much the highlight of the episode.
That was amazing! I haven't got into Breaking Bad, maybe I should.
I haven't watched Breaking Bad yet. Netflix keeps recommending it. Maybe i should. Yes, don't kill Chekov.
