Gillette “How Does He Shave” Kevin Smith |
How does Superman shave? Three celebrities answer.
Gillette has created a fairly clever campaign, having Bill Nye (the Science Guy), Kevin Smith (director and uber-geek), Mayim Bialik (Big Bang Theory), and Jamie and Adam (Mythbusters) present their theories on this mystery. Earlier today my brother posted MAN OF STEEL’S Four Best (and Four Worst) Cross Promotional Partnerships.
I felt this one campaign deserved it’s own spotlight.
Kevin Smith’s Kryptonian Spaceship Theory
Adam and Jamie’s Hadron Collider Theory
Mayim Bialik’s Enzymatic Follicle Theory
Bill Nye’s Grinding Theory

WHat do you think of the commercials? How do you think Superman shaves?

A ring of Superman stubble! I'll watch for that next time I teleport into space.
I love Kevin Smith, but does he ever change shirts?
I Also think Gillette needs to compensate The Geek Twins with tickets to watch the Patriots.
I recall when watching the History Channel special on comics, or maybe it was A&E's on the history of Superman, that in one of the old Superman comics they actually explained how he shaves. I think it was he used a piece of his spaceship to reflect his heat vision to sear the hair off his face or something like that.
my answer is there is two supermans… and two clark kents…. really i think he shrinks down or opens up enough to get the air from the bottled city of kandor, shaves and leaves.
