2012 was a banner year in movie history. Box office revenues reached a record $10.8 billion, which is a 6% increase over 2011. Ticket sales reached 1.33 billion, which is a 4% increase over
2011. On the downside, average ticket prices rose 2% to $8.09.

With big movies coming, 2013 looks like an even bigger year. While there are dozens of movies coming out, these are the ones people are most excited to see. So, which one are you looking forward to most?
Oz: The Great and Powerful (March 8)

Iron Man 3 (May 3)

Iron Man 3 is presented by Marvel Studios in association with Paramount Pictures and DMG Entertainment. Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige is producing and Jon Favreau, Louis D Esposito, Stephen Broussard, Victoria Alonso, Alan Fine, Charles Newirth, Stan Lee and Dan Mintz are executive producers. Tough choice! Pacific Rim, but Iron Man III and Thor II are close, as is Star Trek.
I'm usually more wary than excited about new movies.
