It’s no secret that Star Wars was originally based on the story of The Hidden Fortress, a Japanese movie set in fuedal Japan. Even Darth Vader’s helmet was inspired by a samurai warrior helmet. That may be what inspired these drawings. If Star Wars was made in feudal Japan, it would look something like this. These incredible designs were created by artist Clinton Felker.
Boba Fett |
The Emperor |
Darth Vader |
Yoda |
Stormtrooper |

Think it would be cool if they made a movie based on that story! Wouldn't have to be all Hollywood though. I'd want something like Hero or Crouching Tiger.
