See Hulk’s Kinder Gentler Side In ‘The Avengers’ Trailer Screencaps [Images]

The Hulk is a hard guy to work with. He’s rude, mean, angry and can throw truck through a window.

“This isn’t a team. It’s a time bomb.” Bruce Banner says and we all know he’s right. The idea of him working in a team is hard to swallow.

But, he also has a soft side and the new trailer shows it.

Here are a bunch of images from the new trailer that show Hulk petting kittens. Not exactly, but it’s pretty sweet for a big, green, rage machine like the Hulk.

WARNING: The images are in high-resolution (1920×1136), so they make a while to load.

First, we see the hulk (Mark Ruffalo) running down an exploding hallway protecting Natasha Romanoff (Scarlett Johanssen) from the blast.

Next, we see Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) falling from the sky. The Hulk grabs him and uses the wall of building to slow his descent to the ground.

Finally, we see him standing side-by-side with the team.

In case we think he’s all nice though, here are some shots of him going “Insane in the Membrane.”

If you want more, MTV has Five Key Scenes to watch for and check back here for more updates.

What do you think? Will the Hulk be a big softie in The Avengers?

The new Avengers trailer gave me chills. This summer, I'm looking forward to Prometheus, the Avengers, and then the Hobbit at the end of the year.

Avengers is second on my list this year only to The Hobbit!
