By now you’ve noticed we switched to the domain https://thegeektwins.com/. Make sure you update your bookmarks and favorites. Did you know there’s a working time and invisibility cloak? Can you name the members of Biff Tannen’s gang? What would you do if your boyfriend or girlfriend didn’t like Joss Whedon’s Firefly?

Here are some of the bits and news from the Internet you may have missed this week.

Speaking of geeky songs, Sci-Fi Songs has an original song called The “Steampunk Girl” Song. Free Download

Sci-Fi Storm reports Universal drops Stretch Armstrong meaning that the film based on the toy Stretch Armstrong is now up for grabs by another studio. That also means Taylor Lautner is out too.

    4. Trivia Answer

In Back to the Future (1985) Biff’s friends were nicknamed “Match”, “Skinhead” and “3-D.” Match was played by a young Billy Zane and always had a matchstick sticking out of his mouth. Skinhead was played by Jeffrey Jay Cohen and always had close-cropped hair. 3-D was played by Casey Siemaszko and always wore a pair of red and blue paper glasses used for 3-D movies.

That’s it for this week! Thanks for stopping by for this week’s “Geek Bits.” Now make like a tree, and get outta here.

I've only seen the Back to the Future sequel once, so didn't remember the names. Or that Billy Zane was in the movie. Thanks for mentioning Stephen's low-budget movie post. And thank God my wife likes Firefly!

    2. Michael Offutt on February 10, 2012 5:37 pm

I'm not even remotely excited about seeing the new Spider-Man.
