We all know that “fear leads to anger” and anger leads to the Dark Side, but did you know having a dog leads to the Dark Side too? Read on and find out rules of the Jedi order you’re breaking every day.
The Jedi order is a strict code of laws and rules designed to bring peace and harmony to its members. By living to the code Jedi are told to keep away from the Dark Side.
Here are five rules that you break every day that would get you kicked out of the Jedi order.
1) Have No Attachments
“Attachment leads to jealously. The shadow of greed, that is.” – Yoda (Star Wars: Episode III)
Do you love your family? Do you have a favorite pet? Anything you own have sentimental value? Congratulations, you’re on your way to being a Sith Lord. “Train yourself to let go… of everything you fear to lose.” said Yoda. Better tell your momma goodbye. Unless you want to start tattooing your face.
2) Never Feel Anger
“Anger, fear, aggression. The dark side are they.” – Yoda (Star Wars: Episode V – The Empire Strikes Back)
This is an obvious one, but the Jedi themselves break this all the time. Think of Obi-Wan’s face when he realized Anakin had killed the young ones. Mace Windu’s reaction to Emperor Palpatine being the Sith Lord. I guess there’s a fine line between Light and Dark side when it comes to this one.
3) Have No Fear
“Fear is the path to the dark side. Fear leads to anger. Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to suffering.” – Yoda (Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace)
Do you like scary movies? Have you ever ridden a roller coaster? If you’re afraid of spiders, then the Jedi would already have written you a dismissal notice.
Quicker and more seductive it is to run away.
4) Never Be Surprised
“Blind we are, of creation of this clone army we could not see…Only a Dark Lord of the Sith knows of our weakness.” – Yoda (Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones)
Never, ever be surprised. You must anticipate all possible outcomes. Whether its rush hour traffic or just a surprise anniversary party. Any surprise at all is a weakness to a Jedi.
Oddly enough though, Yoda once said, “Impossible to see the future is.” Does that mean he was becoming a Sith Lord? Guess we’ll never know.
So that’s it! With this handy guide you can stay on the path to the Light side and let go of any attachments, anger, fear or surprise. It’s worth it for the cool Jedi robes.
What do you think? Which rules have you broken today? Are you on your way to the Dark Side?

Logic dictates the needs of the many outweighs the needs of the few devoted to the darkside. Hehe.
The Dark Side was always so much more fun. I think every guy in truth wouldn't mind being a part of the dark side as long as it meant he could be on top.
Michael, tempting the Dark Side is…
