Late Tuesday night, a video leaked online with new Marvel information buried in the most Marvel way possible. On the eve of the Agatha All Along conclusion, Marvel revealed a lengthy montage of footage and release dates (or windows) for every Marvel show coming to Disney+ through the remainder of the year and until 2025.
Watch it below:
Let’s run through it.
2024
- November 12th: Deadpool and Wolverine Disney Plus release
- December 22nd: What If…? Season 3 (Animated)
2025
- January 29th: Friendly Neighborhood Spiderman (Animated)
- February 14th: Captain America Brave New World
- March 4th: Daredevil Born Again
- May 2nd: Thunderbolts*
- June 24th: Iron Heart
- July 25th: Fantastic Four First Steps
- August 6th: Eyes of Wakanda (Animated)
- October TBD: Marvel Zombies (Animated)
- December TBD: Wonder Man
Some of them, like Daredevil: Born Again, had previously been released, but others, like Ironheart and Wonder Man, had not.
So let us go beat by beat here. The clip, which you could initially only see in front of Agatha All Along episode 1 but is now available online to watch above, begins with Daredevil: Born Again. This is our first official look at the show. We see Matt (Charlie Cox), Kingpin (Vincent D’Onofrio), the Punisher (Jon Bernthal), and even a combat scene in the corridor. Great stuff.
Next up is Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, which focuses on the old-school comic book animated approach. That was followed by Ironheart, which no one outside the D23 Expo had seen anything of. In her new costume, we see a little of everyone, but mostly Riri (Dominique Thorne). Her flying through the streets and throwing fists feel like a big-screen movie.
What if…? Season 3 and Marvel Zombies are brief hits with only a few shots, which is fine because they came before the main moment. No one has seen any footage of Wonder Man, starring Yahya Abdul-Mateen II. It’s a show with many starts and stops owing to strikes and other issues, but it is a lot of fun. For the most part, we know that Ben Kingsley will reprise his role as actor Trevor Slattery in Iron Man 3 and Shang Chi. It has strong buddy cop, 48 Hours, or Midnight Run undertones.
Things conclude with the first public video of Eyes of Wakanda, which appears to be incredibly exceptional, followed by the huge release date montage.
We thought this video, which also discloses Deadpool and Wolverine’s Disney+ premiere date, was going to be released following Agatha All Along on Wednesday, but it’s out now, and there’s enough to talk about. Please do so below.
What are you most enthusiastic about? Will these series work well with upcoming movies like Captain America, Thunderbolts, and Fantastic Four?
