Everyone is curious to see who will next appear at the Star Wars attraction at the Disneyland Resort after Grogu and the Mandalorian’s arrival further disrupted the previously established timetable at Galaxy’s Edge. Disney Parks posted a mysterious video of Luke Skywalker and R2-D2 approaching the Millennium Falcon on Instagram this morning. We were shivering to see the iconic Lucasfilm character pull up to the scrap of trash with his droid.

The hero will premiere in Disneyland’s Season of the Force theme park from March 28 to May 11. Not an elderly guy, but a youthful Luke, he will be the first of the original trilogy trio to appear. Galaxy’s Edge would have had to use Force Ghost Luke if it had remained in the park’s original timeline between Star Wars: The Last Jedi and Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. That scene changed a while back when Disney+ characters, including Ahsoka Tano, Sabine Wren, Fennec Shand, and others, began to appear in Galaxy’s Edge.
Season of the Force, a promotion exclusive to Disneyland, is mentioned in the follow-up piece. Luke may, therefore, only visit Anaheim and not Orlando.
This Luke will appear for the seasonal themed overlay of the Star Wars-inspired park at the Disneyland resort, wearing his trademark black Jedi robe. Season of the Force will also coincide with Disneyland After Dark: Star Wars Nite, a unique theme park-wide takeover event that is ticketed and runs from April 8 to May 6.
