Has the “Star Wars: The Last Jedi” Trailer Date Leaked?

Star Wars: The Last Jedi – Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill)

Disney is extremely secretive about the upcoming Star Wars movie. Mark Hamill, who plays Luke Skywalker in the movie, loves to engage with his fans. Unfortunately, the two just collided.

Yesterday, my wife asked me when the new trailer will be released for Star Wars: The Last Jedi. I said I had no idea, but figured it would be fairly soon since the movie opens in a few months.

Someone on Twitter said “today is a good day to release the new trailer for #StarWars”. Hamill replied, “Watch Monday Night Football on Monday October 9th – for no reason in particular”.

The tweet was quickly deleted but not before a screencap was made.

That makes sense. The first trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens was released on Monday Night Football back in 2015.

The first trailer for The Last Jedi was released in April during Star Wars Celebration in Orlando.

A couple of days later Hamill backtracked saying, “Disney will announce when they’re ready”.

Now that the cat’s out of the bag expect an official announcement soon.

Are you looking forward to the Star Wars: The Last Jedi trailer?

If it's like the Force Awakens trailers it'll just be a bunch of random shots that don't really make any sense until you watch the movie but people will pore over each screenshot looking for clues.
