13 Amazing Things You Missed in the BATMAN V SUPERMAN Trailer

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016) – Batman (Ben Affleck)

At San Diego Comic Con Warner Bros released the new Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice trailer
and it’s broken the Internet getting over 20 million views. While
millions have watched the trailer there’s so much to see you may have
missed some stuff. There’s a ton to see in this new trailer and we get
    to see a lot more
of the story behind the movie and not just pretty pictures. The movie
isn’t due out till next year but we get to learn a lot. Here are some
    things we noticed.

    1. Robin’s Dead

We see the charred remains of a suit with the writing “Ha Ha Ha. Jokes
on you Batman.” The suit has a styled “R” for Robin. It’s a reference to the 1988 comic “Batman: A Death in
the Family” when the Joker kills Jason Todd,  the second Robin, in an
explosion. There have been a bunch of Robin’s but leaked set photos show
a gravestone that says “Richard Grayson”.

    Dick is the first Robin,
meaning he’s killed off in the movies. In the comics, Batman has massive
guilt over his death and this could be what drives him to stop being
    Batman.

    2. America Still Hates Illegal Aliens

If people are angry about Mexicans sneaking over the border think how
they feel about alien sneaking into planet Earth. Hundreds show up to
    protest Superman (Henry Cavill)

    3. Wonder Woman’s Bracelets

In one scene we see Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) clap her bracelets
together and create a massive force field which protects her from an
explosion. Or it could be a cut of two unrelated scenes. Her bracelets,
also known as the “Bracelets of Submission,” are a pair of metal cuffs
worn on her arms. They can deflect any blasts and are indestructible.
But, in the new 52 comic book continuity, the bracelets have other powers. Wonder Woman can
generate a force field, summon lightning and create a massive shockwave
that can even hurt Superman. We don’t know if she’ll have these other
powers. Gal Gadot did say, “She has unbelievable endurance. She is
exceptionally strong. She can jump really high and practically fly. She
know tons of martial arts styles. She is a strong and serious Woman.”

    4. Superman Hates Batman Too

Wayne Towers collapsed and killed friends of Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck)
which leads him to hate Superman. But, the fight isn’t one-sided.
Superman hates Batman too. We see that Batman is stripping criminals of
their clothes and burning a bat symbol into their skin.

    Clark says,
“This bat vigilante is like a one man reign of terror.” This leads his
editor Perry White (Laurence Fishburne) to say: “You don’t get to
decide what the right thing is. No one cares about Clark Kent taking on
    the Batman.”

    5. The Dark Knight Returns

We know Zack Snyder loves to use comic panels as visual inspiration and
here’s one straight out of the graphic novel The Dark Knight Returns.

    6. Diana is Stinkin’ Rich

Diana shows up at a high society function and leaves in the back of a
very expensive car. In the comics and the pilot for the Wonder Woman TV
show Diana Prince is a very successful businesswoman.

    7. The Senator is Working With Lex Luthor

In the beginning of the trailer we see a senate hearing and the unnamed
Senator (Holly Hunter) says, “The world needs know what happened, and
what he stands for”. Later we see that senator being led into a room by
Mercy Graves (Tao Okamoto) and talking to Lex (Jesse Eisenberg).
They’re planning something. By the way, we knew Jesse Eisenberg plays a
bald Lex Luthor, but he’s rocking some sweet hair in these scenes.

    8. Lois Understands

In he last movie Lois didn’t believe the Kryptonian symbol on
Superman’s chest meant “Hope”. But she gets it now and understands it
has far greater meaning than even he understands. She says, “This means something. It’s all some people have…it’s all that gives them hope.”

    9. Wayne Manor Burned Down

Someone is walking to the burned out remains of a huge building. Its
most likely Bruce Wayne’s stately manor. If the Joker killed Robin in
Wayne manor that would explain why Bruce doesn’t want to rebuild it.

    10. Superman Soldiers

There’s a fight scene in the desert with batman and some soldiers.
We’re not sure where they come from, but the guys are wearing Superman symbol on their
arms. They’re not good guys though since Batman has no problem breaking
one of their necks. At another point in the trailer we see the soldiers kneeling before Superman. Who are they?

    11. Superman Saves the World

While superman is traditionally an American hero, we get to see him
helping all over the world. Saving a Russian space capsule. Being admired
at the Mexican “Day of the Dead” festival. This Superman doesn’t just
    fight for the American way

    12. General Zod’s Body

Mercy is walking down LexCorp with a box that reads USAMRIID (the
United States Army Medical Research Institute for Infectious Diseases).
This is a real agency that is the only U.S. Department of Defense (DoD)
laboratory equipped to study highly hazardous viruses at Biosafety
Level 4 within positive pressure personnel suits. Luthor uses his
government contacts to steal Zod’s body. But why?

    13. Luthor Has Kryptonite

We know that Batman fights Superman using Kryptonite, but it looks like
Luthor has some. It’s either a huge chuck of the meteorite or it’s just
really close to the camera. Is that why Superman is kneeling before Lex Luthor?

You have to wonder where Bruce gets his
Kryptonite from though. Maybe he’s unknowingly working with Superman’s
    greatest enemy?

The trailer is amazing and there’s so much going on in this film it’s
going to be the blockbuster of next summer. Can we wait till 2016? Did we miss anything in the trailer?

I love your post. It makes me like the trailer better. I enjoyed the appearance of Diana (WW), but was expecting a bit more. The Suicide Squad trailer was off the chain!
