Star Trek Wedding Ring “Boldy Going Somewhere” by Paul Mitchell Design

Check out the geekiest wedding rings and bands ever made! Wedding rings have a long tradition. In the past, the wedding ring was not only a sign of love, but also promised ‘earnest money’. Back in the Edwardian days the phrase ‘with this ring I thee wed’ followed the words ‘This gold and silver I give thee.’ Then the groom handed his wife a big bag of gold and silver coins.

We don’t do that anymore, but now you can give them something better than money: a promise of eternal geekdom. From Star Trek to Star Wars you can give your true love these awesome rings.

See the high resolution images here http://imgur.com/a/ZBRhE

Which is the geekiest wedding rings ever made? Would you give your beloved one of these rings?

Man, if I could've gotten away with those Stargate rings…

    2. Pat Dilloway on August 4, 2014 3:27 pm

If only my brother had the money for one of those Trek ones.

    3. Clarissa Draper on August 4, 2014 5:46 pm

Oh, i'm torn. I want the Stargate but I also want the Enterprise and RD-D2. So cool someone thought of these.

    4. Tony Laplume on August 4, 2014 7:32 pm

The Wonder Woman one would be pretty awesome.

    5. Maurice Mitchell on August 4, 2014 10:46 pm

You can say that your city needs you David.

    6. Maurice Mitchell on August 4, 2014 11:43 pm

      Some of those are pricey

    7. Maurice Mitchell on August 4, 2014 11:44 pm

I know you're a diehard Stargate fan Alex!

    8. Maurice Mitchell on August 4, 2014 11:44 pm

Very awesome. Especially paired with the Batman ring.

    9. Maurice Mitchell on August 4, 2014 11:46 pm

      They're all amazing Clarissa

    10. Maurice Mitchell on August 4, 2014 11:46 pm

      Your city needs you David.

    11. DAVID WALSTON on August 5, 2014 1:03 am

I'm not the hero that San Antonio needs, or the one that they want!

    12. DAVID WALSTON on August 5, 2014 4:46 am

I'm slightly biased to Sarah Jane Smith. She was one of the reasons a young boy would watch Doctor Who. I liked Peri, but hated how they (the writers) left her on a planet in the middle of a story to die. (Trial of a Time Lord) Only to later say she lived and married the war king. Of the New Who, Martha and Amy would be at the top followed by Clara.

    13. Alex J. Cavanaugh on August 5, 2014 9:46 am

I'll take the sexy warrior babe.
Maybe I should watch the show sometime…

    14. jeremy [retro] on August 5, 2014 12:50 pm

well i am glad to agree, that is it…. i know my favorites have been the last three…

    15. Rusty Carl on August 5, 2014 12:58 pm

I have to admit that I think Clara is quite pleasant to see. But I can't really disagree with this list as it is either. Billy Piper has always been my favorite companion.

    16. Pat Dilloway on August 5, 2014 1:07 pm

Doesn't seem like a bad list. Never watching the show I can't really argue anything. Was the Leela character a basis for the character on Futurama?

    17. Nigel Mitchell on August 5, 2014 2:58 pm

I think Leela was officially named after a symphony, but I think she's an influence

    18. He Geek She Geek on August 5, 2014 3:08 pm

If I can figure out what size ring She Geek wears without her knowing it, that TARDIS will be her birthday gift!

    19. Tony Laplume on August 5, 2014 7:13 pm

And they've got some great names, too!

    20. Maurice Mitchell on August 5, 2014 9:22 pm

Awesome HG! We'd love a pic of her rocking it

    21. John McVirgo on September 23, 2014 11:24 pm

      Martha Brown???????? EWWWWWWWWWWW!

She looks like a Frank Bruno with a wig. Come on guys, stop patronizing black women with this bullsh** and tell us what you really think

    22. Nigel Mitchell on September 24, 2014 3:39 pm

      We stand by our choice

    23. John McVirgo on September 24, 2014 4:43 pm

Lol, OK guys I respect your sexual orientation towards transgender looking black females if that's what you honestly go for.

I was honestly shocked because I'd order them as:

      1. Leela (Louise Jameson)

      2. Peri Brown (Nicola Bryant)

      3. Rose Tyler (Billie Piper)

      3.joint 3.Amy Pond (Karen Gillan)

      4. Sarah Jane Smith (Elizabeth Sladen)

      5. River Song (Alex Kingston)

(I don't find Martha Brown remotely attractive at all )

    24. Dandru on October 1, 2014 12:54 pm

River and Martha?? Well, there goes any credibility this list could have had, especially since Victoria is nowhere to be found.

    25. Dandru on October 1, 2014 12:55 pm

And where's Clara? Come on, folks. Clara and Victoria are both far hotter than anyone on your list.

    26. Omar Iqmad on October 26, 2014 12:14 pm

River song is not better looking then martha. It us fine you are not attracted to black woman everyone has there taste.

Marth would be my second, the clara my first and that female blonde timelord from the original series.

    27. James Cunning on November 29, 2014 7:29 pm

Yes these options for jewelry are really great and superb. There are several all time green tradition in wedding and engagement jewelry. http://www.moyerfinejewelers.com/

    28. R K on December 6, 2014 3:47 am

What abour Clara??!! She's beautiful and clever! Make her number 0.5 and we'll call it good.

    29. NuWho Fangirl on February 20, 2015 3:43 pm

No offense but AMY SHOULD BE AHEAD OF MARTHA!

    30. Clarity Simms on February 20, 2015 3:44 pm

I know! Victoria was definitely one of the prettiest and River Song is just OLD.

    31. mti14 . on February 26, 2015 10:04 pm

I find it hard to believe that Clara didn't even make the list, while I've got her tied for #2 with Rose. The one who really gets my gears turning is Amy, the newer the episode the better she smoldered! She might not be the beauty queen winner but she definitely has that appeal that just starts in the DNA, must be the red hair, pouty lip combination.

    32. skybolt on March 17, 2015 6:39 pm

I would put the 2nd Romana (Mary Tamm) pretty high up on that list as well

    33. WRH on April 5, 2015 6:44 pm

Both Romanas and Jo Grant much better than Rose, Martha and River. Amy was fit but annoying. I'd take Nyssa, Ace, Liz Shaw and a possessed Tegan over the newer lot too. That's just my personal opinion, of course.
