Blogger Jon Negroni has created what he calls the Pixar Theory, an idea on how every Pixar movie is connected in a massive timeline spanning thousands of years that runs from Brave to Monsters, Inc. Basically, his idea boils down to how the Pixar movies chronicle a gradual evolution of machines and animals to replace mankind in the distant future. His theory is illustrated in this infographic.

Boo was the witch! Who knew? Can't trust those kids.
This is funny to read after I spent all day watching Planet of the Apes movies.
Nice.
I like that the doors are time machines.
I was aware of the Pixar theory, as I stumbled upon it on the interwebs some time back. If I'm not mistaken, it gets waaaayyyy more detailed. I wish I'd just found the infographic, it seems like the site I found kept me bottled up for hours.
Amazing! Just one little problem: In Toy Story 2, Tour Guide Barbie says the Buzz Lightyear toy debuted in 1995, the same year the original film came out. Since in the first movie Buzz Lightyear is treated like the hot new toy, it stands to reason that Toy Story 1 takes place in 1995 as well.
