    A lot of people are wondering what a fight between Batman and Superman would be like. Comic book fans already know the answer, because the two have fought many times in the comics.

    The most famous battle occurred in the pages of the graphic novel, The Dark Knight Returns. Significantly, they even read a line from the graphic novel when announcing the Superman vs. Batman movie.  

    Actor Harry Lennox read the line, “I want you to remember, Clark. In all the years to come. In all your most private moments. I want you to remember my hand at your throat. I want you to remember the one man who beat you.”

    The Dark Knight Returns came to life as an animated movie starring Peter Weller, and it gives us a great sample of how the fight in the live-action movie might go.

      This is one of my favourite graphic novels. The Animated movie does a nice job of recreating it. I just found it kinda strange that Robocop was Batman.

      Peter Weller did the voice – didn't know that.
      The look on Robin's face when he ripped off the roof was priceless.

      I watched that when it came out. I still don't like heroes fighting each other. It just seems cheesy to me. As someone on my blog noted, whoever wins depends on whose title it is. So I reckon since this is really a Man of Steel sequel Superman will find a way to win.

      I'd heard this was a movie — probably from PT. I never saw any of it before, and now that I do, it looks pretty true to the book, which I loved.

      I don't mind heroes fighting each other, if they have a reason to do so. One of the first comics I ever read was Spider-Man vs. Superman, a fight that was prompted by Doc Ock and Lex Luthor teaming up. I thought it was so cool to see them fight. That was part of what I liked about The Avengers movie — Thor vs. Hulk, and stuff like that. I think there's something about heroes, and how they always win, that makes a hero vs hero fight a little more compelling.

      As to how Batman should fight Superman? I guess Miller got it about right — Batman would need all those gadgets to give him a fighting chance . But if Batman is also ninja like in his mastery of martial arts, he should use those a little more than simply brute force.

      Thanks for sharing. I enjoyed the video. Batman reminded me of Iron Man with all that armor, though!

      I vaguely remember an episode of justice league where batman (using meditation) slowed his hearth beat to to point where superman couldn't pick up the sound anymore. That way batman was able to eavesdrop a conversation had in the justice hall.

      As I said, vaguely remember. Could someone maybe help me fill in my blanks?
