Who Would Sponsor Your Favorite Superhero? [Images]

What if you had to choose a corporate sponsor for a superhero? Who
    would it be?

    Above
Image: Hulk sponsored by Monster Energy Drink

Being a superhero is pretty expensive and these are tough economic
times. Peter Parker’s webshooters don’t grow on trees you know. Batman
can only afford to lose so many batarangs before he starts trying to
recycle them. Clark Kent can only afford to take so many sick days from
    the Daily Planet.

There are some superheroes who use corporate sponsors already like Mystery Men’s
    Captain Amazing, Watchmen’s
    Dollar
    Bill
     and Booster
    Gold
, but what about Superman, Batman or Wolverine?

Italian designer Roberto Vergati Santos said, “Imagine if one day
capitalism reaches the point, where the big brands starts to sponsor
the superheroes. How would this influence their images? Based on this
hypothesis, I decided to experiment with some characters, and see what
would be the results of such idea.”

    Do
    these brands match the heroes?
    Who
    would sponsor your favorite superhero?

      Batman and Nike? Odd combination.

I'd take Bugatti as a sponsor anytime.

      • Maurice Mitchell on March 13, 2013 8:03 pm

        I'd take Lamborghini

They'd probably need more than one, so that they'd look like those NASCAR drivers with like every square inch covered in ads. That would create numerous issues though as what happens if someone's destroying a Burger King and Iron Man is sponsored by McDonald's? Does he just let it go down?

Incidentally last night I finished, "Dead Links." Great book! Is there going to be a sequel?

i looked at the captain america and widow… and thought fantastic four movie…

Wolverine and Hulk look cool but I can't see Ironman sporting the McDonald's brand. No Way! Thanks for the laughs, you really had me going.

Its kind of a stretch Spacerguy, but he does love a good burger. Glad you got Lulz from it!

You're right Jeremy! I never caught that.

Glad you liked "Dead Links!" I'd appreciate it if you left a review for it on Amazon. As for sequels, I do plan to write another book about Amanda Katt in the future. Keep an eye on my blog for more details.
