There’s a design movement called kinetic typography, what used to be called “moving text.” It basically animates text to capture a mood and feel. Enthusiasts have been particularly generous to The Dark Knight, animating a lot of the scenes with very cool videos. Here’s a selection of five of the coolest on YouTube.
1. The Joker Meets the Mob
2. The Joker Explains How He Got His Scars
3. The Joker Explains the Value of Money
4. The Joker Explains Chaos to Two-Face
5. Gordon Explains Why the Dark Knight Must Run
What do you think of the videos? Do you think kinetic typography makes it better or worse?

They definitely put a lot of effort into those. I can see that style being overused very quickly though.
That's pretty cool. Not as silly as the Watchmen "motion comics" where they film the comic book and move the camera around.
