Just when I thought I couldn’t get more excited about The Dark Knight Rises (2012) the marketing machine for the movie kicks into high gear. Here’s a rundown of the newly discovered Catwoman poster along with the character banners and a tip on where you can see the Tumbler in person.
First, here’s a poster featuring the heel of Catwoman, played by Anne Hathaway, stomping on a batarang. This was discovered by a Comic Book Movie reader who scanned in a secret QSR code. I’ve never worn heels (no really), but those look insanely uncomfortable.
Next, we have three four character banners showing Batman (Christian Bale), Catwoman and Bane (Tom Hardy) standing in a total riot in Gotham City. Notice all the Tumblers? I count at least four. I’m guessing these are going to be a major plot point.
Finally, I’ll be out of town this weekend or I might be camping out at the mall to see the Batmobile when it comes to Phoenix. You can see when it comes to your town by going to http://www.tumblertour.com/

What do you think of the new banners and posters? Are you excited about The Dark Knight Rises? Do those shoes look uncomfortable?

I don't know how women walk in heels!
Me either Alex. It's a gift.
I'm excited for the Dark Knight Rises. I won't see it at midnight though. A daytime showing shall be fine by me.
Yeah Michael. Godzilla was the last midnight show I went to. I'll never do that again.
I'm looking forward to this one. I saw the preview at Avengers yesterday and it looks great.
Oh, and Alex, I use to have to dance in heels, jumping on and off a float at Disney World. I still remember the shin splints. LOL
Midnight showings are awesome! They have the fans who really want to see it, and so are that much more ready to enjoy it. That was my very enjoyable experience with Snakes on a Plane, anyway.
Really Tony? I wonder why midnight shows attract real fans?
Those look like Versace boots. ๐ I love the darkness this poster displays. Excellent!
George, the posters are excellent. Versace? Nice to know she has good taste. I wonder how that fits in with her 1% message?
Ciara, the trailer has to be seen to be believed. Ouch to the Disney story.
