The Boston Globe created a stunning poster that tells you pretty much everything you might want to know about the Avengers. With graphics by Ryan Huddle and text by Tom Russo, it’s an incredibly detailed and fascinating chronicle of the characters, movies, and comics that built this amazing film.

And below, you can click on some larger images to see more details. The infographic is packed with Easter eggs. For example, the “file numbers” are actually the month and year the characters made their first appearance in the comics. Can you spot any others?
