Most Star Wars fans agree that the fight between Darth Maul, Obi-Wan, and Qui-Gon was one of the few bright spots in The Phantom Menace. But this frame-by-frame analysis by First Man on the Spoon shows how they weren’t really fighting each other. “The Totally Phantom Menace” takes the form of an instructional video about how not to fight your opponent. It hilariously shows how their lightsabers never even came close to hitting anyone, all the unnecessary moves, and attack openings that were ignored. It seems like the real Phantom Menace was the lightsaber fight itself.
Does this video make the lightsaber more or less cool? Does it make a difference?

Aim like a drunkard and jump like an idiot – too funny! If I ever watch the film again I'll just pretend I didn't see that clip.
That was the best line, Alex, I thought. Funny how I never noticed that stuff before.
Ditto…still awesome
