    1. Trivia Question

Which Superman movie holds the number two record for the most movie mistakes of all time?

For fun, I’m putting in a bonus question at the end worth 15 points. The first reader with the correct answer wins the points. Each week we’ll post the rankings.

(Answer at the end of the post)

    2. Motivational Geek Quote

“If you don’t stand for something, you’ll fall for anything.” – Sucker Punch

    • The Fox show Terra Nova wasn’t picked up for a second season effectively cancelling the show. Blastr asks Could Netflix be its savior?
“I hear that 20th TV and Netflix have been in talks about keeping the pre-historic drama alive,” Deadline reporter Nellie Andreeva writes. “My sources stress that the conversations are preliminary and it is unclear if they will materialize into a negotiation, but for fans of the series left heartbroken by Fox’s decision on Monday not to pick it up for a second season, this is still encouraging news.”
    • Comics Alliance reports a Fan Recreates Han Zimmer’s Score from ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ Prologue. He had to create it by ear from cell cam videos.

    •  Mary Sue has an English translation of the new scenes with Tony Stark in the German The Avengers (2012) trailer

First, the translation, which will aid you in watching the German-language trailer. This is the earlier scene with Steve Rogers:

Tony Stark:… And following orders is obviously not my style.

Steve Rogers: And everyone knows that style is all you care about.

Tony Stark: From all the people around here, who wears the most figure-hugging outfit?

And at the end, with Bruce Banner:

Tony Stark: I promise a stress-free environment. No surprises. (zaps Bruce)

        Bruce Banner: Ow!

        Steve Rogers: Hey!

Tony Stark: You really got it under control, don’t you. What’s your secret? Relaxing Jazz, bongo drums?

Steve Rogers: Is everything like a joke to you?

        Tony Stark: If it’s funny!

    4. Mini-Review

    Awake 45 stars

Episode 1.2 “The Little Guy” (3/8/2012)

Another powerful episode as Brittain has to stuggle between mourning his wife and son and having them back each night. The motorcycle scene was great. His partners are getting suspicious and we see the first indication of a conspiracy.

    5. Trivia Answer

Superman IV: The Quest for Peace has a whopping 336 mistakes in the film. The second highest ever recorded behind Apocalypse Now. Some of the highlights are numerous scene where you can see the wires holding up Superman. The scene where the Nuclear Man takes the publisher into space with no protection and she returns unharmed. Scenes where backgrounds and actors change within a scene and a stunt man in a hat appearing in the same scene in three separate places.

The film was released July 24, 1987, and grossed a total of $15.6 million in the United States and Canada. With a budget of $17 million it the biggest failure in Superman history.

Bonus question (15 points): Star Wars is in the top ten. Where do you think it ranks?
