Normally, I only post once a day, but this just blew me away. Someone got a cell phone video of the second Dark Knight Rises (2012) trailer and it’s pretty…interesting. I grabbed some screen caps and did a transcript of the trailer.
Synopsis:
Every hero has a journey. Every journey has an end. Christopher Nolan returns to complete the epic Gotham trilogy that launched with Batman Begins and reached the stratosphere with the billion-dollar blockbuster The Dark Knight.
Batman is now hunted by the law led by his friend Commisioner Gordon for taking the blame of Harvey Dent’s murders and protecting his reputation. He must quickly deal with the arrival of new villain Bane who is bent on the destruction and chaos of Gotham City, face old wounds and get a handle on the enigmatic Selina Kyle before his city is lost for good. Oscar Winner Christian Bale reprises his role as Bruce Wayne/Batman for the third time along with stars Michael Caine as Alfred, Gary Oldman as Commisioner Gordon and Morgan Freeman as Lucius Fox.
Inception stars Marion Cotillard and Joseph Gordon-Levitt join the cast as WayneEnterprise board member Miranda Tate and Gotham Cop John Blake. Rounding out the cast are Anne Hathaway as the sleek Selina Kyle and Tom Hardy as the powerful villain Bane.

BOY: Singing “The Star-Spangled Banner”
ALFRED PENNYWORTH: You are as precious to me as you were to your own mother and father. I swore to them that I would protect you…and I haven’t.
MAN 1: The mayor’s gonna dump him in the spring(?)
MAN 2: Really?
MAN 1: Mmm-hmm
MAN 2: But he’s a hero.
MAN 2: A war hero. This is peace time.
SELINA KYLE: You think this will last. There’s a storm coming Mr Wayne. You and your friends better batten down the hatches. Because when it hits, you’ll wonder how you ever lived so large and left so little for the rest of us.
PRISONERS (chanting): [UNKNOWN]! Subida,[UNKNOWN]! Subida [UNKNOWN]! Subida [UNKNOWN] In my follow up post I realized it’s translated “Bane. Bane. Levanta [Rises].”
BRUCE WAYNE: What does that mean?
MAN 3: Rise.
[Editor. The greatest football player ever…]
BANE: When Gotham is ashes…you have my permission to die.
[Editor note: Bane has a pretty muffled voice with a heavy Mexican accent.]
[Editor note: It looks like Selina shoots a bank with a Tumbler prototype Bat-Mobile.]
[Editor note: Some are saying this is our first view of the new “Batwing” chasing Selina in the Tumbler.]

Just got back from seeing Sherlock Holmes so I got to see the actual trailer. Almost gave me chills. Prepare for awesomeness next summer.
